• Mr.Shahil Shah of IIT, Kanpur for his thesis titled "Design and Implementation of Parallel Operation of Inverters with Instantaneous Current Sharing Scheme Using Multiloop Control Strategy on FPGA Platform".

• Mr.Awneesh Kumar Tripathi of IISc, Bangalore for his thesis titled "Position Sensorless Vector Control of Induction Motor including Field Weakening Mode of Operation".

• No awards in Undergraduate thesis.

The National Mission on Power Electronics Technology (NaMPET) is an initiative of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. One of the aims of NaMPET is to foster the growth of power electronics activity in academic institutions in the country.As an encouragement to students engaged in final year project work in power electronics, NaMPET has constituted Best Project Thesis Awards.

• Postgraduate thesis awards:
Two awards are available for best postgraduate M.E./M.Tech. project thesis. Each award will carry a merit certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 25000/-.


• Undergraduate thesis awards:
Two awards are available for best undergraduate B.E./B.Tech. project thesis. Each award will carry a merit certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 15000/-.
